Jessica Hsuan Denies Already Married


There are rumors about Jessica Hsuan marrying boyfriend Ruan Bester again. It's said boyfriend proposed to her on Valentine's Day and she bought an expensive house for marriage. The two plans to hold a wedding next year in South Africa. Reporters wants confirmation from her and she denied: "No wedding plans at the moment. I'm not in rush. I'm enjoying being in a relationship and at work."

The actress expressed she already denied similar reporters before, but she can't control what the media write: "I bought the house for my parents and for investment. I'm not building a love nest." Asked whether she is in a rush? She said: "No. I'm very busy working this year. I just finished filming 'Flying Tiger.' Then I'll be in Singapore to film for 2 months. My boyfriend has his work to do. We will continue to date naturally and work."

Jessica Hsuan Confirms Long Working Hours


Joe Ma's wife complained about TVB artists are over-working. As for this, Joe's partner in "Flying Tigers" Jessica Hsuan agrees: "Actors don't sleep enough, it's been like that for many years. People around the world sleep more than us. I got used to it already. Everyone must experience that." However, she said TVB understands artists; they understand if actors can't film a drama.

The actress' contract with TVB ends this September, asked whether she would renew it? She said: "I haven't signed management contract with a long time. Now if I'm happy, I'll continue. If not, then I won't." As for TVB is losing their actors and actresses, she doesn't want to comment more.

Joe Ma Might Leave TVB, Jessica Hsuan Supports


Is Joe Ma another TVB's biological child leaving their mother company?

Joe Ma and Jessica Hsuan were filming outdoor scenes for their new drama "Flying Tigers" (tentative name). Joe expressed he doesn't have much dramas left in TVB after he finished this one. His contract with TVB is ending this year and he said no one approached him yet to talk about renewing it.

"I don't know whether I'm renewing or not," he said. "I just hope I can have a bigger market. Better salary and more good dramas to film."

His partner in the drama Jessica supports him to earn more money up in the North (Mainland).

"He can absolutely do it. If we don't earn money now, when could we?"

The actress expressed she is also filming a Mainland series like Joe after she is done filming "Flying Tigers." As for many older TVB artists are no longer TVB's biological children, she agreed.

"Many from my generation already left, only Sunny Chan remains. He always asks me to stay. Well I do like to work with people I'm familiar with."

*Three Types of TVB Contracts*

1. Management Contract - This contract is usually long (more than 5 years) and it includes dramas, hosting, singing, and other activities. A monthly salary is given.

2. Per-drama Contract - This contract tells how many dramas the artist has to film every year. Salary is given by every episode.


3. Agent Contract - Similar to Per-drama Contract. The company would also seek other job opportunities for artists.
